Sekedar informasi, Google Play's Best of 2021 sendiri hadir sebagai event penghargaan yang diberikan ke aplikasi dan game di Google Play Store setiap tahunnya. Khusus untuk game, terdapat beberapa kategori yang dihadirkan mulai dari Best Game of the Year hingga Game Kompetitif Terbaik.
Untuk kategori game terbaik, Ragnarok X: Next Generation pun dipilih menjadi game terbaik di Google Play Store tahun ini. Memang game yang diterbitkan oleh Nuverse tersebut sempat populer di kalangan gamers mobile khususnya pencinta game RPG.
Sementara itu kategori game terbaik versi pilihan pengguna dimenangkan oleh Garena Free Fire MAX yang berhasil mengalahkan 9 game lain yang ada di dalam nominasi tersebut.
